Jesse Dieterle is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group and focuses his practice on general commercial and appellate litigation matters in state and federal court. Prior to joining Akerman, Jesse served as a law clerk to the Honorable Renatha S. Francis of the Florida Supreme Court, where he worked on matters involving appellate jurisdiction, assisted in drafting judicial opinions, and provided recommendations on a wide range of procedural and substantive civil and criminal legal issues. Before his clerkship, Jesse practiced at an Am Law 200 firm in its appellate and trial support group, where he briefed and researched appeals in Florida’s District Courts of Appeal, the Florida Supreme Court, and federal courts of appeals. This distinctive combination of private practice and judicial experience informs his approach to written advocacy and managing all phases of litigation including appeal.
