Akerman Partner Jonathan Beckham will present on the session "The Fabric of Connectivity: Fiber and the Data Center Ecosystem" at PTC'26. This session will discuss the resurgence of demand for dark fiber based upon AI clusters and hubs in both primary and secondary markets throughout the United States, partnerships and collaboration between hyperscale technology firms and suppliers, the influence of sovereign AI in driving investments in networks, and the impact of emerging supply constraints on the marketplace. Jonathan will also present a Lightning Talk session on "Private Financing and Legal Strategies for AI Factories and Edge Markets" on Tuesday, January 20.
