Mary Samsa will speak at the Tax Issues for Health Care Organizations conference, on a webinar titled, “Understanding the Impact: Market Trends in Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits and a View from the Compliance Front.” The conference is hosted by the American Health Law Association (AHLA). The panel will explore the (1) health care industry’s response to COVID-19 through executive compensation and benefit offerings, (2) year-end compliance considerations for benefit plans, (3) implementation of certain SECURE Act retirement plan changes, (4) IRS enforcement initiatives, and (5) re-evaluation of split-dollar life insurance. Although virtual, the program will include the ability to ask questions directly of the panel.
