Matt Steinberg, Deputy Chair of the Labor and Employment Practice Group, will be a panelist at a seminar hosted by pymetics, discussing, "The Law, AI, and the Future of Work." The panel will discuss the effects of new hiring technologies on the evolving landscape of employment selection. Topics will include the current legal status and future directions related to selection algorithms, how carefully designed technology can make it easier to comply with anti-discrimination laws and ensure legal defensibility; and how to evaluate new hiring technologies to determine their effect on diversity and inclusion efforts.
