To speed relief to the economy, on March 27, 2020, Congress enacted the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (the CARES Act). The CARES Act contains expansive healthcare provisions that cover areas such as support for healthcare providers, increased access to post-acute care, and waivers of certain telehealth requirements, to name just a few.
