William Heller, Chair of Akerman's Consumer Financial Services Practice Group, will speak at the 2016 MBA Legal Issues conference. His panel topic, "Servicing Issues Including TCPA," will discuss rules and directives under Dodd-Frank, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), State and CSBS initiatives, as well as litigation and enforcement actions that continue to significantly impact the mortgage servicing process.
