Akerman is hosting the National Association of Women Judges (NAWJ) Kickoff Cocktail Reception for the International Association of Women Judges Biennial Conference which will be held in Washington D.C., May 26-29, 2016. Akerman is supporting the incoming president of NAWJ, Miami-Dade County Circuit Court Judge Lisa Walsh, and participating as a sponsor of the 2016 NAWJ international conference.
