Litigation partners Sarah Kroll-Rosenbaum and Brenda Radmacher were among the area’s leading litigators and trial attorneys honored recently in the 2023 Leaders of Influence list from the Los Angeles Business Journal. The recognition is based on their professional achievements, leadership, and contributions to the Los Angeles business community.

Kroll-Rosenbaum is the leader of Akerman’s Staffing Law sector team, which offers staffing companies coordinated counsel as they navigate compliance, regulation, and litigation challenges. In recent years, she has defended more than two dozen temporary staffing companies in class, collective, and representative actions, including California PAGA claims. Kroll-Rosenbaum has argued extensively before state and federal courts across the country, including the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and in arbitration.

Radmacher focuses her practice on Construction Law, working as a counselor, litigator, and noted speaker on issues involving land owners, developers, general contractors, and design professionals. She has a multi-faceted practice, litigating construction disputes as well as advising clients on risk management best practices, drafting critical documents, and effectively resolving disputes. Radmacher has been retained as lead construction counsel on some of the nation's largest construction disputes including, most recently, the Champlain Tower Condominium Collapse in 2022. She is also serves as a mediator and is on the American Arbitration Association's panel of commercial arbitrators.
