Akerman is pleased to announce that its Corporate Practice Group recently represented AE Industrial Partners ("AEI") of Boca Raton, Florida in the acquisition of the majority equity interest in Yingling Aviation for an undisclosed amount.

Founded in 1998, AEI is a private investment firm targeting highly technical markets such as aerospace, defense, power & utility services, and business aviation. It has concluded more than 130 investments since 2015 and has more than $5.5 billion under management. 

Yingling Aviation is based in Wichita, Kansas and operates a full-service maintenance, repair, overhaul and FBO facility for business, commercial, and personal aviation. 

Corporate Partner Julia Seider Browne led the Akerman team representing AEI. The other lawyers who contributed are:
