Akerman represented Diamond Chemical Company, LLC, a portfolio company of private equity firm Graycliff Partners, in its acquisition of WeChem, Inc., a specialty chemical manufacturer headquartered in Harahan, La.
Established in 1972, WeChem produces a broad range of cleaning products, including cleaners, degreasers, disinfectants, sanitizers, and specialty aerosol products for industrial, commercial, and institutional customers across the Gulf South. The acquisition broadens Diamond Chemical's product offerings and expands its manufacturing presence in the region.
