Akerman represented North State Acceptance (NSA), a portfolio company of Fourshore Partners (Fourshore), in the acquisition of a loan portfolio from a premier specialty finance company providing auto and personal loans throughout eastern North Carolina.

The transaction enables NSA to expand its presence into the Shallotte and Morehead City markets and strengthen its network across highly attractive regions of eastern North Carolina.
