Anne Marie Garavaglia, real estate finance partner and co-host of the Akerman StackedUP podcast, has been featured in the CREFC Women's Network Member Spotlight. The mission of the CREFC Women's Network is to enhance the visibility, profile, and advancement opportunities of women in the commercial real estate finance industry, provide a structured platform within CREFC dedicated to women's initiatives, and provide opportunities for networking, mentoring, and development of professional women. Garavaglia has nearly 25 years of experience in commercial real estate finance and capital markets as both an in-house attorney for Fortune 50 corporations and as a partner in Am Law 100 ranked law firms. She focuses her practice on real estate capital markets, securitizations, financial services, structured and commercial finance, loan portfolio management/servicing, loan originations, and financial work-outs and restructuring. She represents traditional institutional lenders, private equity funds, and non-traditional lenders in a variety of transactions including mortgage loan originations, secondary market portfolio and single asset loan sales/acquisitions, joint venture and preferred equity investments, warehouse and repo lending facilities, and bank and non-bank mezzanine, bridge, CMBS, participations, and life insurance company loan originations.
