Diana Clarkson focuses her practice on federal and state tax aspects of corporate transactions, including entity planning, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, tax-free spin-offs, and restructurings. Her significant tax background adds value to the counsel she gives businesses and their owners, including  planning strategies and considerations involved in the transition of businesses to buyers or the next generation in a tax-efficient manner.

Diana also advises employers on a wide variety of general business tax matters with an emphasis on employment tax issues, including fringe benefit withholdings and their related tax consequences, and providing solutions to complex state and local tax problems involving direct and indirect state taxes as well as real estate transfer taxes and municipal taxes.
