Mark Shutt practices civil litigation with a focus on complex coverage and insurance disputes. He represents clients in everything from advising carriers on legal and contractual duties and managing extra-contractual exposure to representing carriers in active litigation in state and federal court. Mark has extensive experience in advising and representing carriers with respect to claims under commercial general liability, excess and umbrella, retained limit, commercial property, garage keepers, professional liability, pollution, directors and officers, and commercial auto policies. Mark has also experience in defending clients in breach of contract, personal injury, and real estate matters.

Mark is a magna cum laude graduate of Baylor School of Law. Mark also holds a Master in Business Administration degree from Baylor University. He is member of the Texas Bar Foundation, the Texas Association of Defense Counsel, and Christian Legal Society. He has also contributed to the TADC’s Insurance Newsletter from 2017 to the present.
